Hooded?

Tonight I will attend the graduation ceremony for completing my master's degree. I will get "hooded".....this term cracks me up...I feel like I'm going to get violated.

Vacation

We made it to MI with little fanfare on the flights here. Kids did great on the plane and are having fun already! Tanner and Karis can't believe the size and the "fun" yard at the house with a trampoline, kick the can, the twisty swing, etc... I thought the fireflies would make a bigger splash. The novelty quickly wore off..

Today will be another chill day of playing. Things are loking well for the party. Looks like we may go to Huckleberry Railroad, Fruankenmouth, Port Huron, and of course...Ann Arbor.

The weather is good... low humidity and a nice breeze.

I will admit...I miss my pool! :)

DONE!

First, congrats to all my mates at FPU who completed their Masters! It was a great ride/adventure............now.....................................I don't know what to do with myself.  :)

Now I need to find a job at a JC.

I'm looking Fw to our trip to MI and seeing all the family members at the reunion.

I'm watching a snake eat a fish on the Discovery Channel...Yeeeew!

Also...Go see the Dark Knight and do not take children...Chris Nolan did a great job; each actor superb; the story phenomenal; and Ledger WILL become a legend b/c of this.  He is THE Joker!

Summer begins

Ahh...nothing better than the start of summer vacation!  Today I begin seven weeks off from work.  One of the perks of being a teacher. The next few days will be for rest and relaxation.  Although I have some plans, the main goal is to be a vegetable..... I think ill be a squash.

Loking FW to another busy weeknd of basketball tournaments, birthday parties and homework....

Didn't make it to the celebration for the Dogs last night. JT swam three events (see new photos), and we got out of the meet later than we thought.

GO DOGS!!!

Fresno St. has won the National Title in Baseball. I was sitting at a bar with friends from work, tossing back some Shock Top (we were actually at a retirement party for our boss)...oh what a feeling! Right now, the town is going nuts. Shaw Ave. is closed between Cedar and Chestnut for pure chaos. The baseball gods are smiling on Fresno...

Props to my cousin Kevin (see his blog) for his immediate post with a Bulldog cap...also....my boy Mahoney...I'm glad Anhesuer Busch did not sell out to InBev ...

Big rally at Beiden Field tomorrow. I imagine it will be moved to Bulldog Stadium due to the mass of bodies!

Back for good...

It's been over a year, but this blog has been reactivated.

I have been busy with life (parenting, husbandry, teaching, coaching, being a student). Five weeks of school left, and it will all be worth it.

More importantly, the Fresno St. dogs will be playing for the National title in baseball...I'm stoked.

Like I said, I'm back and will be updating this site more often...
